Vijay\'s Madrasapattinam is just that. This anticipated historical romance Madrasapattinam was not announced as a remake by the film maker, hence it was considered as his own script. But that was not true, most of the film was inspired or to be precise copied from the epic Titanic and a little of Lagaan. Only some parts in madrasapattinam were originally created by director Mr.Vijay and the Others were the like the above examples copied from Titanic & Lagaan. Madrasapattinam was a good movie, but the idea behind that movie was not that of Mr.Vijay\'s. Its not wrong in remaking or making films inspired by other films, but the original should be credited at the end of the movie and the director should admit it has a remake or inspirational movie. The film may not be turned out to be a classic like Titanic or Lagaan. However, it is definitely one of the better Tamil movies released recently. A perfect family entertainer! Recommended!!
